A remarkable private tour visiting the Corinth Canal, Ancient Corinth, St. Paul’s steps, The Temple of Apollo, Mycenaean, the famous Mycenaean cyclopean walls, the tomb of the Mycenaean King Agamemnon, Nauplio, Epidaurus, the ancient Epidaurus theatre.
Beginning in the morning, will drive along the coastal road of the Saronic Gulf short stop at the Corinth Canal with its breathtaking views.
Shortly, reach one of the wealthiest cities of Ancient Greece – CORINTH – where ST. PAUL lived and preached for two years, visit Apollo’s Temple (6th C.B.C), visit Isthmian at the site of the ancient port of KECHREAI where ST. PAUL disembarked.
Continue to MYCENAE – see the remains of the Mycenaean Ancient City, including the lioness’s gate, tomb of the Mycenaean king Agamemnon and the Palace. Then drive through ARGOS onto NAUPLIO – stop here for lunch.
After lunch, drive to EPIDAURUS and its ancient Epidaurus theatre, famous for its remarkable acoustics. Return to Athens via the Epidaurus / Corinth road.
